Van een zestal dode schapen in Twente is vastgesteld dat ze zijn aangevallen door een wilde wolf.

Cartoon over de gifgasaanval in Syrië. Een jaar geleden maakte ik hier ook al een tekening over, waarbij ik de foto leende van het aangespoelde Syrische jongentje Aylan. Hetzelfde idee wilde ik nu opnieuw toepassen en gebruikte hiervoor de nieuwgekozen World Press Photo.

// Another chemical attack took place in Syria. This wasn’t te first one and I also did a drawing on it before. For that piece I borrowed the famous silhouette of the little Syrian boy Aylan to raise some awareness. This time around, after another horrible attack, I wanted to do the same thing – borrowing the new World Press Photo.

De spanning blijft oplopen in de zaak Skripal nu in navolging van het Verenigd Koninkrijk nog 25 landen sancties tegen Rusland hebben aangekondigd.

Landelijk gezien kennen de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen twee grote winnaars. En ook twee grote verliezers.

De komst van Unilever naar Rotterdam is een mooie vangst! Zou de afschaffing van die dividendbelasting hier iets mee te maken kunnen hebben?
