Ik heb gekozen voor een tekening over het recht van een kind om op te groeien in een veilige omgeving. De oorspronkelijke tekening had een veilige ‘bubbel’ te midden van een oorlogssituatie. Voor mijn illustratie heb ik het omgedraaid, een kind kan geen kant op in een oorlogssituatie.

// I chose a drawing about children’s rights to grow up in a safe environnement. The original drawing had a safe bubble in the heat of a warzone. I flipped that around in my own illustration, emphasizing the fact that children in warzones are stuck in that heat.
